Who, Clinton, Trump? It Doesn’t Matter!

I am trying to subscribe to Bob Livingston’s posts and thoughts. Every day I’ve been wading thru his Personal Liberty Digest, but am finding that usually it’s Bob Livingston who has it right; at the PLB, not so much. But at his newsletter, if you don’t buy something, seems one can’t subscribe. That just doesn’t fit my old-man circumstances!

Below is the current post at BobLivingston.com

I’ve copied the post but cut the sales pitch – if you wish, you can go to his website.

“Democracy is Pure Fantasy”: Trump vs. Clinton in November

By Stephen Lendman — Global Research, June 08, 2016
It’s all over but the postmortems. Trump and Clinton are their parties’ presumptive nominees. Choice for voters in November amounts to death by hanging or firing squad.

Democracy is pure fantasy. None whatever exists. Trump was the last GOP aspirant left standing after all others dropped out, an unlikely choice, a surprise winner, prevailing despite party bosses opposing him.

John Whitehead: Freedom-Loving Candidates Need Not Apply

John Whitehead: Today’s presidential hopefuls must jump through a series of hoops aimed at selecting the candidates best suited to serve the interests of the American police state. Candidates who are anti-war, anti-militarization, anti-Big Money, pro-Constitution, pro-individual freedom and unabashed advocates for the citizenry need not apply.

Butler-Shaffer: Don’t Trust Anyone Running for Office

[Yes, Bernie Sanders is a socialist, actually a communist,] and so are all the other presidential candidates; and all the other politicians; and all political parties; and all political systems! Throughout human history, and regardless of the label under which any have operated, every political system has been premised on the arrogated authority to preempt decision making over the lives and property interests of individuals. This is the implicit meaning of “eminent domain”: the state is the ultimate owner of all within its boundaries.

Don’t Be Fooled by the Political Game: The Illusion of Freedom in America

John Whitehead, “Now we find ourselves once again caught up in the spectacle of another presidential election, and once again the majority of Americans are acting as if this election will make a difference and bring about change—as if the new boss will be different from the old boss.” Striker: I’m not comfortable with everything he says in this article, but most of it is “right-on”

What if Voters were Free to Chose?

A video and text from Judge Andrew Napolitano. This is a repost from back in 2012, and more important than ever!

What IS this stranglehold?? By various means, of which I don’t pretend to know all, the Dem-Reps have managed to assert a monopoly which serves to restrict the rights of citizens to freely vote their choice of either a party or their candidates.?

Was I Wrong About Voting?

Some have said that voting is, “the suggestion box for slaves.” I tend to agree. Given that one cannot vote to not be a slave, taking part in such efforts remains a waste of my time. Others have opined that, “if voting changed anything, they wouldn’t let you do it.” This is also somewhat true, but also somewhat false.

MINIMUM WAGE AND INFLATION

Earning a living wage is important. Seems to me the only people whining about people earning a living wage are the people that neither need or have ever made so low an income. If these rich crybabies want to pay their help more, why do they need the government to tell them they must? Raising […]

Failures of the Founders

Updated today and sent to alert all about getting 404 errors.
Our “founding fathers” did some good thinking, but in the end there was a
convention of 56 men to write a constitution by committee, always a
mistake.
They omitted all reference to the good words within the Declaration of
Independence. Thus they made no provisions by which the States or individual “citizens” might secede, nor any means by which the People might terminate their
Rulership and be sovereigns preserving their Right to Life.
So in the end, our Founders created only yet another government of Force, for which we are paying a horrid price today.

Libertarian Party to Obama’s 2013 SOTA

WHAT IF we’d had run-off voting?  WHAT IF hopeful 3rd parties were not forced by state laws (from the Dem-Reps) to spend so much effort merely to get on the ballot and remain on the ballots in future elections.  WHAT IF Americans had a “candidate” on every ballot called “NONE of the Above”?  WHAT IF there was no button, no mark, for straight party voting?  Even WHAT IF No Party affiliation was allowed on the ballot?
