Whitehead: Has the American Dream Become the American Nightmare?

For too long now, the American people have allowed themselves to be persuaded that the government’s job is to take care of us: to feed us, clothe us, house us, educate us, raise our children, heal our infirmities, manage our finances, protect us from our enemies, guard us against all dangers (real and imaginary), and provide for our every need.

Where Americans go wrong is in failing to recognize that there’s always a catch to such devil’s bargains purportedly carried out for the good of all society.

How to stamp out cultural Marxism in a single generation

Brandon Smith: “There are very few legitimate cultural divisions in the world. Most of them are arbitrarily created, not only by political and financial elites, but also by the useful idiots and mindless acolytes infesting the sullied halls of academia.

It is perhaps no mistake that cultural Marxists in the form of social justice warriors, PC busybodies and feminists tend to create artificial divisions between people and “classes” while attacking and homogenizing very real and natural divisions between individuals based on biological reality and inherent genetic and psychological ability. This is what cultural Marxists do: divide and conquer or homogenize and conquer, whatever the situation happens to call for.

A Green Light for the American Empire

It also ushered in the current 25-year war to solidify the power necessary to manage a world empire. Most people in the world now recognize this fact and assume that the empire is here to stay for a long time. That remains to be seen.

No Citizen Safe Throughout the World

Throughout history humans have chosen (or more correctly, allowed) certain others to rule them. Of course we know of Genghis Kahn greatly expanding “his” territory, sacrificing the lives of many others, both of his conquests areas and of “his” own people (who of course did not belong to him). In the end, always these territories somehow became “countries” or “Nations” by the Decree of someone, and always the people within were “citizens” — whether subjects or slaves…. The Future of Libertarianism

there’s nothing wrong with what some people disparage as “infighting.” A respectful exchange of ideas is how a school of thought develops. And I agree with Tom Woods: it is not true, as many allege, that libertarians are uniquely prone to arguments among themselves. Just observe the Democrats, the Republicans, your homeowners’ association, Catholics, Protestants, Muslims — or, for that matter, just about anyone.
