As Americans were spending time scrambling to give the IRS their annual protection fee, the court system in the United Kingdom, at the behest of National Health Service bureaucrats, abducted and murdered an 8-month-old baby. This brazen abduction was done in broad daylight with full press coverage and the UK government and courts claimed loudly this was humane and the right thing to do.
Rothbard: “What national boundaries can be considered as just? In the first place, it must be recognized that there are no just national boundaries per se; that real justice can only be founded on the property rights of individuals. If fifty people decided voluntarily to set up an organization for common services or self-defense of their persons and properties in a certain geographical area, then the boundaries of that association, based on the just property rights of the members, will also be just.”

Rousseau was perhaps the first to popularize the fiction now taught in civics classes about how the government was created. It holds that men sat down together and rationally thought out the concept of government as a solution to problems that confronted them. The government of the United States was, however, the first to be formed in any way remotely like Rousseau’s ideal. Even then, it had far from universal support from the three million colonials whom it claimed to represent. The U.S. government, after all, grew out of an illegal conspiracy to overthrow and replace the existing government.
We have written here on No-Ruler much about eliminating The Force which is government, but today it is high time that we proceed to discussion of any and & all of matters which will be different,.People need to understand how we’ll live so much better without The Force. Being Governed is merely a bad habit which began so very long ago that most people unthinkingly believe that the “habit” of government is necessary.
The question is… just what can Rulers do that “we the citizens” cannot do for ourselves?
