by Prof. Peter T. Leeson. As there is little information on anarchy states to be found, this is important, as the coming global collapse will force most governments bankrupt, along with it’s peoples, and out of business. As GOVERNment will no longer exist, we’ll have anarkos (Greek — without a ruler), perhaps worldwide? Will mankind then finally learn to live by it’s rational mind, with moral principles?
This should perhaps have been the first in this series, but too late now! We will be turning this from theory to reality. “Home” for us is Apache County, Arizona, one of the poorest and least populated counties in the USA, located in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains at an elevation of over 6,000 feet. Our community is unincorporated, being in a rather remote location with a few thousand people scattered an area of perhaps 600 square miles. In talking with the people here, NOBODY wants this area to become part of some incorporated town (which would mean a GOVERNment)! Thus we seek to build a better community within a Voluntary system, in which all are Sovereign Individuals, in which each can fulfill his perceived needs and goals in concert with others who share those same. Neither GOVERNment nor Rulers are necessary to accomplish such goals; this is OUR Path to True Liberty!
Ron Vrooman, a friend and also a Member here, who now very much involved with common law as a defendant battling his local school board in Beaveron OR and it’s gendarme. Among the information he sent me was the following:
It only takes 29 people in each state to move the county…
I’m not recommending the link above, as I brought this here to critique rather than to promote. Thus I’ll be posting only excerpts from the source article. To understand why I am concerned about islamists, you must first take in to consideration the nature of my business.
This is not a coffee and donut shop. This is a liv e fire indoor shooting range. People come here to buy, rent, and shoot lethal weapons. In the range, people are shooting guns in close proximity to each other, so my patrons depend on me and my discretion regarding who I allow to shoot beside them.
One mistake in judgement on my part could cost innocent people their lives. The primary reasons I am concerned about islamists shooting at my range are listed:
[updated to correct video link] Michael Boldin’s Tenth Amendment Center has produced a new video which puts forth a more correct and relevant viewpoint about natural human rights versus the customary view that government somehow “owns” Rights and therefor can “decree and grant” human rights. He strikes at the root of distressingly common philosophical and practical error.
So spend a couple of minutes to watch this refreshing viewpoint!
If you reside in America and it is dinnertime, you have almost certainly broken the law. In his book Three Felonies a Day, civil- liberties lawyer Harvey Silverglate estimates that the average person unknowingly breaks at least three federal criminal laws every day. This toll does not count an avalanche of other laws — for example misdemeanors or civil violations such as disobeying a civil contempt order — all of which confront average people at every turn.
