… in the 1840s & 1850s (!) a new legal philosophy took hold. No longer were private property rights upheld. An environmental plaintiff came to court under this new system…was told that his private property rights were being violated, but this was entirely proper…even more important than “selfish, individualistic property rights”…

And the people think that our Constitution was ignored just recently?  This is a fascinating read about property rights and morality.  Not your usual diatribe!

  1. I have been saying for years that the environmental movement has nothing to do with the Earth. Apparently, it is also not as recent a phenomenon as I thought.
    It is merely a clever smokescreen for the nanny state and collectivists to gain power.
    Unfortunately, people react emotionally to the propoganda, and don’t examine the issue further. It is a ridiculous concept to put forward that people want to destroy the earth.
